My boss sent me on a weeks worth of training out of state in an effort to teach me everything I DON’T know about our companies main system. There's an employee here the hardly ever shows up & I KNOW this “trip” originally stemmed from this problem. While I was gone & ever since I have been back this employee has arrived way before time, & has been working away vigorously @ his/her work, which is TOTALLY abnormal!! Mind you, this absenteeism has been going on for about a decade (literally). I don’t know how to ask my boss if I am going to get to do the things I have learned (which was a lot of little different things) so as NOT to FORGET. Repetition is the main key in all the things I learned… I just don’t know what to say to my boss. I don’t want to sound like I am in a hurry to get this person out the door. They will weep and complain then go on about their business because the situation is out of their hands and they have responsiblities to tend to: family, jobs, bills, etc. That is why you don't need friends, you just need to be alone: you are born alone and you die alone. That is how life works. A caretaker is there for a little when you lack the knowledge and strength to wash yourself, but that's it. Then you on your own! Besides, people always separate in the end and are too busy for each other anyway so you just got to entertain yourself sometimes. Self-reliance is the best way because people can betray each other!

Conflicted Emotions; What To Do?

Okay, a little over a year ago my ex-wife went to Reno to peruse a job that she supposedly got offered. So she went, with our youngest child that we had together. I really didn’t like the idea of her going, but I thought it was a good opportunity for her. So I supported her in the decision. But about a couple of weeks after she got out their, she didn’t get the job. Because of my nosy mother. So my ex blamed me for what I had nothing to do with. Guilty by ociation is basically the situation I was in. I thought it wasn’t fair, because I wasn’t even there for the situation that cost her job. In fact I was at work at the time. But in any case, she was upset and started telling me that she didn’t love me, that she never wanted to see me, that she hated me, ect… And of course I was pretty upset myself, so I started to yell back. But didn’t mean any of it. But a month or two goes by and she tells me that since my mother cost her, her job that I needed to help her pay for her bills out their. So I did, even though I knew that I couldn’t afford the bills and the two kids I have with me. But I seemed to manage. I would send her money when she asked without even thinking about it. Then about the 3rd month se was out their, she had told me that she was pregnant. Well I was over joied about it but also upset because I wouldn’t be able to be their when it was born. So as the months went on we were on a rocky road, constantly fighting and arguing. I could never get any straight answers from her. If she was planning to come back or if she planed to stay their. All I got was “I don’t know”. And many other BS answers to my question that I had asked her. So in late September I went out their, because she wanted to file for divorce. She told me that she couldn’t get any type of state aid if she was married to me. So without thinking, I went out their, spent a load of money on not only my expenses but also on the divorce papers to get filed and on a $300 ring that she had wanted. I didn’t want to do it. I was pissed, upset, angry, and betrayed that she would even do something like that. But she told me that she had still loved me and that just because we weren’t married that it wasn’t going to change anything. That she was only doing this to get medical benefits. So I went with it. About a week after I got back home, my mother being the nosy person she is told one of my friends that my ex was planning on getting married. So just to get the story straight, I asked her about this supposed marriage. And all she told me was that it was a “fair” marriage. A group she is in that does renaissance fairs. But their meetings are mostly, about drinking and between each other. (Not really a thing I want my youngest to be involved with.) So she asked me how I found out about that. I was honest with her and told her that my mother had found it. Well that started another argument. I found out that the divorce paper work didn’t go through cause of many errors. So we tried it again a month later. This time she had come down. I thought that she would have stayed for a while like I did. But boy did I get a shock. After we resigned the divorce paper work again, and I paid for it again, she told me that she had to go because the person that she had got a ride with had to be back in Reno before midnight. Because he had is daughter with him and she couldn’t leave the state of Nevada. So of course I was pissed, this time that I thought I was going to spend with her and my youngest had been cut short. Then found out again in about a month later that it didn’t go through again. So she ended up getting a lawyer and doing it that way. So in late November we had started talking about filing taxes together. Something told me not to, but I agreed to it. But in between then and when we filed the taxes, we had a few arguments and I told her that she could file by herself. But she would sit their and smooth things out to where I would agree to file together. In mid November, I had bought myself a motorcycle (Yay me!!). Well I was taking a behind the wheel course and my ex wanted me to do something for her. And I told her that I had to take the cl. And she got upset that I got a motorcycle and she didn’t have any type of vehicle out their. I felt bad because it was true. But when we filed out taxes, she was showing me some affection that I didn’t even pay attention to because I was still pissed, angry, and betrayed at everything that she had done up until that point. So when deciding on who will get the money put into their account, she convinced me that she would have it deposited in her account and give me half of it when it comes in. well about a month later it comes in and she decides to keep all of it. Telling me that “we” agreed on her keeping all of it so she can get herself a vehicle for her. At this point, now I’m really pissed, cause that is not what we agreed on. Baxi boiler question.?

I have a Baxi boiler that was supposedly faulty due to a pump problem, the eingineer came out to look and replaced the pump. When the job was finished he turned on the boiler and found that there was still no water. He left the boiler on which was heating nothing but the boiler internals. The engineer then went to the tank and stuck some sort of pole down the pipe and found there was a blockage, he poked the pipe through the block which in turn let the water through to the boiler. As you can imagine by this time the boiler was roasting with no water in it and as soon as the water got through it burst something and came shooting out the front of the boiler. I have been told that when the new pump is fitted he should have bled the system allowing water to get round the internals of the boiler before igniting it. Before this happened there were no problems with the boiler leaking or anything else untoward. The company are now saying that the fautly pump caused the damage to the boiler?

Permits for Garage Conversion?

I have a garage with plumbing (e.g., bathroom, toilet), drywall and tile floors, cabinets (sink). The county called and said they got a report that there were unpermitted alterations to the garage (true). I dont want to loose any of this renovations and I usually sleep there or do business stuff. Every video I play with windows media player only has sound, no video. I've watched all these videos previously on windows media player and it all went fine. Dizziness and unbalance, what is the cause? Please help?

I sprained a muscle it seems about two weeks back, in the upper back. I went to a doctor who gave me two injections and the following tablets - Nimesulide and paracetamol. And thiocolchicoside. Anyway, things were going fine until the fourth day of the meds when I suddenly felt like this immense dizziness and a feeling like i was going to fall down. This I have never felt before, it only started after this entire back pain thing began. After that the doctor gave me the following for - Cinnarizine 25 tabs. Now the dizziness has been persistent since a week now, as for the back pain, it has largely subsided, but it still remains mildly. What is the most discomfort to me is the dizziness and unbalance feeling. This feeling itself has now reduced a bit as compared to a week back. But it's not gone completely. I feel alright when I am laying down or say, resting my head. But when I walk, I feel this slight sense of imbalance. It's been about 3 weeks since all of this began [back pain, I mean, not the dizziness, dizziness persists since just one week]. Can anybody please help me? I am petrified because i don't like this feeling at all, even though i did not really fall down any time, but I am extremely worried. Will this go away on it's own? so ok i met this guy about 3 weeks ago.. basically he laid it all out for me.. he is 24 and back when he was in his teenage years he messed up alot and ended up in prison 2 times for 2 months a piece, and even got in trouble for armed robbery at a fast food joint... he said this was all like 6+ years ago. he also used to be addicted to meth but has been clean for 4 years. He has a daughter who is 3 he was with his babies mom for 7 years and 3 months ago she dumped him cuz she wanted to be single.. and he said he supported her all the way through college and after she dumped him he left her the apartment and is now staying at his moms apartment on the floor since his mom, sisters, and uncle lives there too.. he says he wants his own place but he cant live alone.. he works and says he has 2 cars but their broken so he is always borrowing his sisters cars to come see me.. basically we hung out 4 times only once did he take me to a movie.. the rest we just stayed at my place. he wants me to meet his kid and family.. heres the problem even though i had my issues with drugs and legalities in the past i have moved on.. i am working on my degree in school, and work 2 jobs, and also have a 10 month old son.. i just feel like he would drag me down.. am i asking too much for wanting a guy who can take me out, and that has a car, his own place, and a lucrative job? should i just cut him loose especially since hes broke all the time?

How to take broken tool out of lug nut?

The person who had my car before me used a tool to get the lug nut off and I guess the lug nut was rusted so the tool got stuck in the lug nut and he just decided to grind the tool off and disregard the whole thing and not tell me that when he sold me the car. Part of the tool is still in the lug nut and I can't get it out. Is there any other ways I can get this broken tool out of the lug nut so I can change the back tire?

I just started working out running and walking at least 3 miles everyday. Also I have been doing muscle training once a week and some cardio workouts( but that also includes weights, squats, and lunges). I have gained 5lbs in 1 month but idk if all of its muscle weight? But I know some of it is because I actually have some muscle on my arms, thighs, and calfs. I use to have NO muscle! I have also increased my calorie intake too. Why do I have a bloody discharge 4.5 months post-hysterectomy?

It's just a blood-stained discharge, brownish as though it's old blood. I've had nothing like this previously since my hyst. My hysterectomy was due to severe endometriosis (ultimately because of complete cervical stenosis so my uterus and right tube filled with blood) and they took my cervix but left my ovaries. There is no cervical tissue left now, which has been confirmed by MRI. I'm having my right ovary out in a few weeks because it's got progressively larger since the hyst, and also my middle incision (my hyst was LAVH) is herniated so that's being repaired. I've done nothing unusual in the last couple of days- I've cycled 25 miles but that's not made me bleed before; I'm not concerned about STDs because I've only had with my husband (48 hours ago- it hurt which it has since the hyst and is still achy now but that's not unusual) and I was obliged to use a gross toilet at a gig I went to last night but it wasn't that bad and the discharge doesn't smell or burn or anything, it's just bloody, so I'm not worried about infection. Pee's fine, tummy's achy but that's pretty usual. What's bleeding?? Is this normal and I just haven't noticed it before? My lower back is pretty sore but that might be because I cycled home with a backpack full of shopping earlier (9 kilos, 1.5 miles). My have been sore the last couple days but today they're fine. What's going on? Should I go and see my gynecologist again or quit worrying and wait til my routine appointment (Sept 21st)? i got on the depo shot in october, but the doctor didn't give me a pregnancy test before he put me on it. i've been on it before, but never had any real side effects, besides my period came only once every 3 months rather than once per month. i had been off of the shot for about 2 years before i started again in oct 09. two weeks after i got on it, i had a very heavy, disgusting, and painful period that lasted nearly 3 weeks. sometime in that 3 weeks, there was a very nasty gray-ish colored discharge that came.. actually, i wouldn't even call it discharge, it was a more solid than discharge, and pretty large.. not the amount of typical discharge- and was very waxy and gummy feeling. i didn't think anything of it, i had just heard that the shot affects different women in different ways. because of this though, i did not renew it in january like i should have. recently, a girl i work with had a miscarriage, and it's been something widely and openly talked about quite a but at work.. now i'm starting to wonder if what happened to me could have been a miscarriage? or just side effects of the shot? is it possible that i was already pregnant, and then a combination of the shot, plus the fact that i take prescribed adderall 3 times a day, could have been enough to cause me to miscarry? i guess my biggest concern is the gray colored gummy-feeling glob that came out of me.. what could that have been? is this worth calling my doctor for?

yes it is. i have suffered alot of abuse and abandonment in my life aswell and suffer from ptsd anxiety bi-polar and used to struggle with my past alot. my little sister was sick when she was a baby and as a result is deaf epileptic slightly autistic and had alot of other health problems and my mother could not handle this and became very depressed which resulted in her drinking taking drugs going in and out of psychiatric institutions and bringing home alot of different unstable and at times psychotic men whom d and physically aulted me for many years and just as i had started to deal with the many problems that i had due to this i lost my only two children to SIDS (cot death) with in 2 years of each other and i was only 16 yo at the time and was angry all of the time after that for a few years. since then i have been seeing a psychiatrist and have done alot of hours in therapy at first i didn't think it would do any good but now i am alot better and can handle most situations without fretting too much in fact this is the first time i have been comfortable talking with someone whom i am not extremely close to other than my psychiatrist about these problems ever so i suggest that you go to see a psychiatrist about these feelings and stay in therapy and no matter how bad you think things are going just stick with it because eventually you will get there

20-month old with a serious sleep problem! Please help!?

My oldest son Diego has NIght terrors, and this sounds a lot like it. My pediatrician told me its nothing to worry about, that he'll outgrow it. But its terrifying for me. And upsetting for him. He's had them for over a year, and I've noticed a pattern. Anytime we change something in his life, they get worst. Like potty training, taking away diapers, etc. Also, it depends how much excitement he has in the evening. One of the worst nights happened after we went to a carnival! That night, he had horrible night terrors. I think all the lights, people, and noises were just too much and gave him nightmares. So try to avoid stimulation after dinner. Turn off the tv, read a book, take a bubble bath, give him a mage. Only calm things. Soothing. This is the best way I've found to manage them. He still gets them occasionally, but its not everyday anymore. BTW, they started at 12months for him, and he's 30 months now.

Recommendation(s) on a digital camera good for frequent concert goer?

Hello everyone! I was wondering if anyone had a recommendation for a digital camera that would be good for concerts? I go to a lot of concerts and my digital camera, Casio Exilim S10, just doesn't cut it. Since concerts are usually presented in the dark and distance from stage is not always ideal, I would need something that would work in low-light conditions & would be able to take nice shots from a far distance. Also, I sometimes like to record parts of the show, so nice crisp video recording capabilities would be a plus. Anyone know/use a digital camera that would be great for such settings (concerts, parties, etc). Oh yea! I'm not a pro photographer or loaded with cash so something $200 or under. Does anyone else have hernias and have constant pain even after surgery?

About 3 years ago I had four hernias repaired. Two with staples and two with a single mesh screen stapled to the muscle. I asked the surgeon if I could still have babies prior to the surgery. She said yes and never gave any details about the problems this could cause, so I got pregnant and had a son about a year ago. Now I am constantly in pain. I can hardly get up some days, once I hurt so badly I laid on the floor and cried. (I have a high tolerance for pain.) The surgeon told me that they caught a nerve in the mesh staples and another staple on my side. She also said the screen was stapled in folded. There seems to be a new hernia on my other side too. All of this will eventually require another surgery. But I don't have insurance right now. Would the surgeon be responsible for repairing the mistakes free of charge? I don't really plan to go that route but the pain does not seem to get better. My real question is what can I do for the pain for now? I take over the counter pain relievers which does not help. The doc told me drinking water would help. I don't think it does. What can I do? My kids suffer as I can't always play with them. And I get crabby a lot from the pain and impatient with them, so I have to do something. Any thoughts?
