My Mulch has a bunch of reddish pink sacs on it. Does anyone know what this is ?

THey are about the size of a pea. Very soft and gooey. Looks like some sort of slime inside of them when I break them open. I think its some kind of fungus but never seen anything like this. Anyone have any idea what its called ?
