If i sold a car in CA, and the car breaks down the next day, am i obligated legally to return the money?

I live in Manitoba, Canada. All vehicles sold here are buyer beware. Your bill of sale should have stated "as is" and "this sale is final" If I were you I would contact your local motor vehicle branch for the laws regarding this matter. If California's laws are similar to ours, you will be in the clear. Good luck.
