How long is the life expectancy with someone with a brain tumour?

A close family member has an inoperable brain tumour and I was wondering what is the life expectancy she doesn't really talk about it I'm hoping I will have a few more years with her yet as she's a fighter but she's just not getting better what are complications with brain tumours.
