Does anybody think that social security age should be changed?
Depends. For those who have worked and contributed to Social Security for at least 20 years it should be 65. Recipients who have not contributed any appreciable amount should be at least 70. The problem is also compounded by those who have not paid into the system and receive benefit. Perhaps if someone is earning in excess of say, $75,000 per year, Social Security benefit should be on a reduced amount because for them it is not their only source of subsistence. Once they are no longer earning a wage, they should received the full amount.
