In bull-riding, what's better? Bullfighters or rodeo clowns?

Clowns, bullfighters...it's the same. I have been involved in the sport for a bit over 15 years as both a bullfighter and rider, and have watched the change from them dressing as ridicoulous clowns to the specialized gear they wear now. Thier top priority in the arena is to protect the rodeo cowboy once he comes off the bull. Secondary job is to entertain the crowd. Some rodeo cociations refer to them as "Cowboy Protection Agents" to take the stigma off of bullfighting.
